Think food production at UNH only happens in the field or in a greenhouse? Think again! Check out these amazing trays of microgreens at Philbrook Dining Hall! These trays are seeded weekly at the Farm to You NH high tunnels and then brought over and placed in the growing system inside Philly – another example of delivering food at its peak of freshness! Microgreens provide great flavor, color, and nutrients, and are being added to a host of dishes served to the UNH community. With options like radishes, peas, basil, and mild greens mix, there’s sure to be a favorite for everyone! Best of all, their adaptability and year-round production makes them a great option for home gardeners as well.
