Peter Kane: Farm Manager
I have been the farm manager since 2016. I began as a senior SAFS student, and have continued to manage the farm since graduating in the spring of 2018. I manage all day-to-day operations on the farm, and am the teaching assistant for the SAFS 679/680 courses. I facilitate the experiential learning side of the courses; involving students in the practical and hands-on aspects of managing a farm. As a former student of the courses, it is my goal to help our students develop those skills that will be necessary for a successful career in agriculture. As I continue to learn and grow as a farmer, manager and educator I love being able to share my journey and experience with students to help them develop their skills and interests in agriculture.
