Susan Soucy: Farm Manager

Susan Soucy found her passion for organic and sustainable farming while studying at UNH. She earned a dual major degree in EcoGastronomy and Environmental Conservation Studies in 2013. After graduation, Susan went on to work on a variety of small family run farms throughout New England. She has always been drawn to experiential learning and is honored to be back at UNH to share her knowledge and experience with today’s students. Her role is to manage and maintain the farming operations at the university’s food production high tunnels, as well as provide support for undergraduate courses Food Production Field Experience SAFS 679/680. When she isn’t farming, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, practicing yoga, and going for hikes.
